Electric DepartmentThe Lodi Village Electric Power Utility has served power needs within Lodi and the surrounding communities since 1943. Income TaxThe Village of Lodi has instituted a 1% income tax. Lodi ParksThe village of Lodi has three developed parks. Storm Sewer Primary storm sewer maintenance is provided by Village Street Department employees and equipment with services billed to the storm sewer account. StreetsThe Village of Lodi Street Department is comprised of three full time employees and uses part time employees as needed during warmer months. Zoning and PlanningThe Commission [lans for physical development/redevelopment of the Village, divides the Village into zones or districts, plans for development of property within the Village, and proposes amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. Trash PickupThe Village of Lodi is contracted with Rumpke Waste & Recycling to provide weekly trash pick-up for residents. Water SupplyThe Village of Lodi water distribution system is supplied by a well field and treatment plant located in the south central portion of the Village. Waste WaterThe Lodi Board of Public Affairs operates an 8.5 million dollar waste water plant. The facility currently operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a crew of 3 employees.
