The Village of Lodi is committed to providing opportunities to our residents by providing a positive business environment where businesses can establish themselves and grow. The Village of Lodi and Harrisville Township are partner members of the Medina County Economic Development Corporation. Lodi is also a member of American Municipal Power (AMP) and they provide us with economic development leads and resources.
The Village of Lodi has the following incentives for businesses:
- CRA Program – Community Reinvestment Area program is an economic development tool that provides real property tax exemptions for property owners who renovate existing or construct new buildings. Community Reinvestment Areas are areas of land in which property owners can receive tax incentives for investing in real property improvements.
- Opportunity Zone Tax Credit Program – Ohio Opportunity Zone Tax Credit Program provides an incentive for Taxpayers to invest in projects in areas known as “Ohio Opportunity Zones”. These Ohio Opportunity Zones are qualified opportunity zones in this state designated by the Federal Statute 26 U.S.C. 1400Z-1.
